Wefers Bistro in Emsdetten

The ambience was very cozy, the staff were friendly and alert, the food was fresh and tasty! Do I really have to pay? I like it here very much!

Super stylish bistro with delicious Italian pizza! We were there for the first time and it was perfect, the service was a very friendly lady who took the time for personal advice despite the crowded place. Good wine recommendation from her with the pizza. Great evening, next time Emsdetten we will definitely be back.

Later in the evening you are simply left outside in the dark ... we were allowed to drink our beer, but we would be alone far and wide! Bad service in my opinion!

The waiter couldn't look any more than busy. Even when I wanted to pay, I had to wait for the waitress, who was at least nice. Maybe next time I prefer to sit somewhere else. Salad gamberetti was good.

Incomprehensible are the many positive reviews that made us choose this restaurant. Little of it was true. The young employees are all overwhelmed. A complaint from us wasn't even accepted (sat outside and weren't allowed in). The young lady who brought us the pizzas at least apologized warmly and solved our anger with the charming manner. She did not fit into the impersonal chaos. A young man came to collect, who had previously watched the events chatting with guests, but did not support them. Hopefully the actual waitresses will at least get the tip. The food was okay, the price-performance ratio was right.

Great hotel, is run as a 3 star hotel, you could also give one more star. The restaurant is absolutely great, very good dishes from burgers to veal schnitzel in different variations. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, everything is always freshly prepared.

Very friendly staff. Truffle fries are worthwhile and even if the portion looks small, the amount and taste are just perfect.

Room really good. Bistro looks more like it is, quality and taste mediocre.

The room was a bit older. But it had a separate toilet. There is also a terrace on each floor. That was a real win.

There were five of us last Saturday, the oldest two women (81 + 76) invited us. We wanted to spend a nice evening. The waitress responsible for us was extremely rude, if not to say cheeky. The younger ones put a good face on a bad game, we wanted to spend the evening harmoniously. Under normal circumstances we would have left the restaurant immediately. Even the menu (one! For five! People) was initially denied us. Hello? We don't have a barcode scanner! We still exist, those who want to read must want. Reluctantly and inevitably, she continued to serve us. Thank you, there are places where a guest is valued as such. Do they make their guests that way at home? Never again. You can eat burgers, tarte flambée or schnitzel on every corner. We don't need "Wefers". Even now, after 3 days, the disappointment has not subsided.

In some places you shouldn't go back a second time. Went there with the company last Monday, everything was great. Waitress competent, friendly and warm, like sitting in her living room. Yesterday I wanted to show this great shop to my husband and it was horrible. Waiter overwhelmed and at the time it was not as busy as on Mondays. We just had breakfast, you can go to Mc D's for that, the food was only lukewarm. We would have liked to spend 60 but it stayed at 30. Yesterday staff should urgently get a training in skill and friendliness or clone the other lady. Burgers were still ok, even if the meat temperature left something to be desired.

Great ambience, great breakfast, great rooms, excellent service. Simply super good. We recommend.

We were in the mulled wine garden before Wefer's. Very cozy. Here you can wonderfully end an evening. Here is self-service so unfortunately you always have to leave your seat and get supplies. There are enough blankets to protect yourself from the cold.

If I could put more stars I will do it with a lot of fun, the restoration is just great and leaves you speechless. Extraordinary really!

Highly Recommended!!! Both hotel and restaurant. My room was very modern and clean, even with bath and free water and hot drinks. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also the restaurant is highly recommended, very modern and absolutely delicious food (and I am quite spoiled, as far as that is concerned). There are over Italian, German to seasonal food a very large selection at reasonable prices.
